•Presently working as a Consultant
• Nature of work handled:
• Translation of knowledge-based texts, developing Scientific and Technical Terminology, developing specialized courses in translation technology.
•Successfully done the field work for collecting the syllabi and reading list of the syllabus taught in leading different Universities of Rajasthan state.
•Translated NTM’s website in Konkani Language.
•Successfully conducted Translation Festival for Konkani and Gujarati languages in Goa where History and Sociology (PG level) text books were translated into these languages.
• Successfully conducted Translation Assessment workshop on translated Knowledge text books in Konkani language in Goa.
•Compilation of Pearson Longman's Basic English-English-Konkani Dictionary.

• Worked as a Resource Person.

Nature of work handled:

• Completed Style guide, Software glossary, Policheck, Reviews for Microsoft’s Dr.Know, Roadmap and validation of Lexicon in Konkani Language.
• Website translation of National Knowledge Commission in Konkani Language.
• Localization of Microsoft Files from English to Konkani & Marathi.
• Localization of Microsoft Files from English to Hindi.
• CIIL’s Website translation in Hindi Language.
• Successfully conducted workshop in Goa University in 2006 for making software related terminology for Microsoft with top most Konkani linguists and lexicographers.
• Accredited Konkani Translator of MicroSoft-India.

Book Reviewer for Konkani Language in CIIL’s Grant in Aid section.

• Worked for a T.V channel in Goa as a Sports correspondent for a period of 10 months.

Nature of work handled:
• Field reporting.
• Worked as Sub-editor in a Konkani daily “Sunaparant” for a period of 3 and half years in Sports section.

PROJECT’S: -

1. Compiled software related English - Konkani Dictionary for Goa Konkani Academi under Clarrissa Morrenas Research scholarship, Goa.

2. Project Title: A study on the Socio-Cultural life style of the people of Dongrim Village. (A village of Tiswadi Taluka of North Goa district). “A Festival called “INTRUZ” (Harvesting festival) during January-February month.
Duration: 6 Months.

WORKSHOPS: -

Topic: Upliftment of women’s and Personality development camp.

Participated in the workshop organized by BAILANCHO SAAD (NGO) working for the upliftment of women’s and personality development in the society. The workshop was held at Panaji Govt. Hospital complex for 15 days.

EDITING EXPERIENCE

• “PILARI” - (A wall magazine published by Konkani department of Fr. Agnel college of Arts and Commerce- Pilar Goa for two academic years in 1997-99.
• “ANTARMANN”- (A hand-written magazine published by Konkani department of Goa University in the year 2003.

BOOKS/ DRAMA/ DOCUMENTARY

• Script written, produced and directed a Konkani drama (Tiatr) called “EKVOT” (Unity) and staged for shows in corners of Goa.
• Script written, produced and directed a Konkani drama (Natak) called “EKA VODDEAK DHON NANGORR” (Two anchors for one ship) and staged for shows in corners of Goa.
• Composed many one-act plays and staged at many one act play competitions which have bagged many prizes.
• Experience of acting in more than half dozens of Professional Konkani drama’s staged by different amateur and professional groups.
• Presented many programmes on “YUVAYANI” (All India Radio-Panaji) on several occasions.

PAPER PRESENTATION AND PARTICIPATIONS

1. Presented Paper in National Level Seminar on “Printed Dictionaries and Digital Lexicons with special reference to Children's lexicography" on 2-3rd February 2009, organised by Fr. Agnel College in collaboration with WRLC & CIIL,Mysore at Pilar Retreat Centre.
2. Participated as a Discussant in All India Konkani Parishad held in Ernakulam (Cochin-Kerala) on 01-03 February 2008 in the session -
“Study of Konkani at National and International Level”.
3. Participated in First Yuva Konkani Sahitya Sammelan held at Govt. College Quepem.
4. Participated in Third Yuva Konkani Sahitya Sammelan held at Saraswat College Assagao-Mapusa.
5. Excellence in Konkani subject in Std- 3 and 4 from Amparo School,Mandur.
6. Attended the seminar and workshop organised by Department of Konkani on Shenoy Goembab 125 th birth Anniversary in Goa University.
