Currently pursuing two month internship at the United Nations Information Centre (till 17th September 2010).
Intern at Flying Robots, Strasbourg France (May 2009 – July 2009)
Flying Robots is a manufacturer and International dealer in ultra modern UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). During the internship, my work and responsibilities included :
• Identifying business targets and assisting in the company’s business development efforts to launch their products in the Indian market.
• Crafting press releases and business presentations for the sales pitch at the Paris Air Show 2009.
• Internationalization / translation of documentation and manuals for the company’s latest product FR102. Also translated the business proposal for UN to be presented in New York.
Academic Projects and Activities
• Participated in the Model UN conference held at Hochschule, Kehl, Germany (March 2009). As part of the conference, draft resolutions were passed in order to have a convention on topics like Biodiversity, Bio-fuels and GMO.
• Attended educational seminars at the Council of Europe in Brussels, Belgium (March 2009). The seminars provided an insight into how the European Union functions and its relations with other countries.
Other Skills
• Completed a certificate course in IT fundamentals from NIIT, Delhi, India covering RDBMS concepts and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SQL.
• Won prizes singing, painting and skating competitions at school and college level.
