Over five years of experience in the industry at various levels has helped me develop a unique set of skills and knowledge. During this period, I have worked on positions catering to German operations, translation and translation team management (pertaining financial & business documents, Information Technology documents and Insurance documents, reviewing and proof-reading of documents). I have been successful in driving high level of performance in each assignment while sustaining a positive work environment, which fosters high degree of motivation and morale. The rich experience has helped me gain expertise in leveraging existing systems, providing innovative solutions, analyzing processes and concepts and managing projects strategically to rapidly drive businesses forward by increasing productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
• Managing all elements of translation process (receiving, planning, allocating, and delivering to the end client and further walkthrough with the end user) and reporting quarterly to the Project Manager (India division).
• Providing translation assistance to the Project Managers (by participating in the meetings), Senior Managers, Team Leads and developers by interpreting in English.
• Managing the feedback process (feedback from the onshore counterparts) for the translation quality of the documents.
• Enhancing German skills of the managers, team leads and other employees of the account by providing German trainings pertaining to communication and culture (basic and intermediate).
• Supporting the Business Development (BD) Team in various Request for Proposal (RFP) & Request for Information (RFI) in their translation documents.
• Mentoring of the junior colleagues of the team.

Achievements
• Achieved three promotions in the span of 3 years - Junior Translator > Associate German Translator and certified trainer > Senior Translation specialist and Certified trainer.
• Awarded as the Best Trainer at CSC.
• Successfully passed Life Office Management Association (LOMA) 280 and 290 certifications i.e. Fellow, Life Management Institute Level-1 Certified and INS 21 [Insurance domain].
• As an individual effort - planned and executed for the automation of the translation management system resulting in initiation of the tool [WorMS] and received a Certificate of Appreciation for the same.
• Completed dictionary software with the help of the software engineers for the translation assistance to the other employees and also helped senior engineers in building a translation tool which has proved very helpful for the translation.
