The Country History
About 40 years of sustained suppression by Japan (1910-1945) and America (1945-49) had devastating effect on South Korean economy. Now, it has transformed into most dynamic economy in the world.
Since historic period, South Korea had been consequentially influenced by China and dues most of its cultural traits from China including its religion Buddhism. China backed South Korea with soldiers in her struggle for independence against Japan. The two countries had close proximity before World War II when they turned into absolutely antagonistic political establishment. On the one hand in the influence of United State, South Korea embraced capitalism. On the other China became Communist country as it had profound influence of Soviet Nations. In view of economic improvement, both countries felt the necessity to uplift the trade embargo between the two countries. As a result, government of both countries came to the conclusion and established diplomatic relationship on 24 August, 1992. Since then, relationship between both countries has gradually been improving.
