Geography
Surrounded by South Pacific Ocean and Tasman Sea, New Zealand comprises two main Islands and numerous tiny Islands and islets. These two main Islands are situated on the south and north to the Pacific Ocean. Having been isolated from another world for long, almost 80% of the flora found on the land are indigenous and occur only on this Island.
Weather is tropical throughout the year and tends to sub-tropical during summer. Vegetation is Evergreen. Forest of pine tree, ferns of Kauri pine and lush green grassland are found in New Zealand. The Island covers 267,260 square kilometer of landmass, and its nearest neighbor is Australia which is some 1,600 lm far from New Zealand.
New Zealand receives 150 days of rainfall. Temperature and weather between Southern and Northern Island varies to some extent.
