Economy
Staggering economic growth of Japan has made it global power. Japan is a leading international player. Service sector alone contributes to three fourth of the total GDP. Banking, insurance, real state, retailing, transportation and telecommunication are major service providing areas. Agro sector is least developed as 80% of the country is covered by mountains and dense forest hampering agriculture, transport and residential requirements.
Although Japan’s natural growth is not adequate enough to support economy and population of the nation. It has to export most of the raw material for manufacturing. Industries are well developed.
