Climate
Japan lies in temperate zone. The climate is warm and moist in summer and cold in winter. On the east cost, the cold kuril current and the warm kuro Shio current meet, causing dense fog. Typhoons are frequent in summer, which cause much harm. Due to scarcity of land, little fodder is grown. So, there is dearth of cattle, dairy product and leather.
