Climate
Climate is relatively temperate. Expanding from south to north, it transforms gradually from temperate to sub-tropical and tropical. Landmass is predominantly plains with overwhelming mountains in the west and plateau and lowland in southeast. Lowest point that is at the sea level is Atlantic Ocean and highest point is Mount Logan (5,959 m).
Hurricanes and typhoons are most destructive obstacles in the development of Canada. Hurricanes are basically extensive storm in the form of tropical cyclones originated in Atlantic and Pacific Ocean. Hurricane Juan is most destructive among hurricanes causing heavy damage and death of eight People in 2003 and is considered to be major destruction over a century.
